ALEX CYRAlex Cyr is a 24-year-old journalist and writer from PEI who now lives in Toronto, Ont. He started writing as a way to vent about injuries he incurred in his time as a varsity distance runner. Cursed with feet flatter than a cutting board, he had written so much by the end of his undergrad degree that he figured he'd make a website.
Cyr has since written about more than just shin splints and patellar tendonitis. His work can be found in The Globe and Mail, The XC, iRun Magazine, U Sports, and The Ryersonian. His first book: Runners of the Nish: A Season in the Sun, Rain, Hail and Hell, was published in July 2018. |
